Popular New York Native rapper and music sensation, Jay-Z has recently come through with a wonderful remix of his previous 2009 hit track titled “New York (Concept De Paris)” featuring, Gil Scott-Heron.
In this priceless blockbuster, he mostly speaks on the differences between each neighborhood and boroughs of the city, including places like Brooklyn, Queens and Harlem. He also gives a basic understanding of the struggles that countless New Yorkers go through in general like Poverty, inequality, crime and homelessness.
The song “New York (Concept De Paris)” was unveiled after his appearance at a high level exhibition called “Basquiat x Warhol. Painting Four Hands“ in Paris, which was supported by Tiffany & Co.
Furthermore, the production of the track was a mixture of JAY’s & Alicia Keys’ 2009 hit single tagged “Empire State Of Mind” and it also displays some sample moments of Gil Scott Heron’s 2010 “New York Is Killing Me” masterpiece.
